Selangor FC U20 Are Through To The Quarter-Finals Of Piala Presiden 2023

The Selangor FC U20 squad has advanced to the 2023 Piala Presiden Quarter Finals after finishing the Liga Juara 1 in 3rd place recently after collecting 14 points from seven matches.

This season, the Football Association of Malaysia has made some changes, each Champion and Runner-up of Zone A, Zone B, Zone C and Zone D will advance to the next stage in Liga 1 Group and the top five teams will go to the Quarter Final stage. Meanwhile, the other teams will play in the Liga 2 group fighting for the top three of the league in order to have a chance to play in the Quarter Finals.

The Red Giants U20 squad has played in seven matches in the Liga 1 competition before qualifying for the Quarter Finals of the President's Cup. Here are the results of the match:-

In the Liga 1 tournament, the Selangor B20 squad scored 10 goals in five games. Harry Danish is currently the Red Giants U20 top scorer with three goals. Followed by Nabil Qayyum and Khairil Zain with two goals. In addition, Nazmi Azzahari, Dicky Hidayat and Amirul Haziq have scored one goal each for the Selangor U20 squad in Liga 1.

Furthermore, the Selangor U20 squad has recorded a clean sheet in three out of seven matches, proving that all positions have performed brilliantly in the Liga 1 competition thus far.

For your information, in the 2023 President's Cup Quarter-Final, the Selangor FC U20 squad is scheduled to face Sri Pahang FC on the 28th of August at the Darul Makmur Stadium, Kuantan (away match) and 4th of September at the UM Stadium, Arena (home match).
