The official Selangor FC Women's Squad closed the 2023 National Women's League in fifth place with five points accumulated from one win and two draws.

According to the head coach of the Selangor FC Women's squad, Rosni Abd Hamid, he thanked the players for their fighting spirit in facing the competition this season.

"Most of the players with the Selangor Women's squad are coached by young players as young as 15 years old. This is one of the factors of the combination between young and senior players is quite significant. I am responsible for bringing them together so that there is 'chemistry' between them. At the same time, the difference in experience that my players have is quite far compared to other teams that have more experienced players and most of them play at the national level, but I don't want to make this the reason for every defeat we face,"

"However, I am very grateful to the players for still giving a good competition in the National Women's League this season despite the lack of several factors. I hope that the experience they have gained throughout this tournament will be carried into the next season," he said.
