The Selangor FC Women's Squad will begin their campaign of the 2023 Liga Wanita Nasional or National Women's League (LWN) on August 5th, this Saturday and the MBSJ Arena, Subang Jaya will be their home venue.

Eight teams will participate in the LWN for this season including Selangor FC.

According to Head Coach, Rosni Abd Hamid, the Selangor FC Women's Squad consists of a great mixture of young players who will be competing with the help and guidance of the senior players in the 2023 National Women's League.

"This season, the Selangor FC Women's squad is a combination of young players from the Selangor Sports School and some senior players from last year's squad as well as the addition of some new players. The squad’s youngest player is 15 years old and the average age of the squad is 20 years old.

"We (the coaching staff) admit that many other teams have more experienced and stronger squads that will provide us with a big challenge to take. However, we believe these young players are ready to prove themselves on the LWN stage.

"At the same time, this is our mission to bring young and new talents in an effort to help introduce and increase the number of talented female players in Selangor and the country," said the head coach of the Selangor FC Women's squad.”

He also expressed his happiness at being able to present new elements agreed by the management of Selangor FC, "This season we have an advantage in terms of nutrition in ensuring that the players can take care of the right nutrition to help them perform with better energy. Not forgetting the facilities available at the SFC Training Center for the use of our players and the addition of physios from the Red Giants Medical Center who will treat the players in every training session and matches. This can all help the Selangor FC Women's squad to be stronger for the 2023 season."

GOALKEEPER: Norazizah Nazri (28), Daliea Eliessa (15), Amyra Fariesya (15).

DEFENDER: Nurul Hamira (31), Wan Nadhirah (28), Anin Sofiya (21), Zureen Aliya (21), Nuratiqah Batrisyia (16), Asma Munajati (16), Nicol Adrynna (15), Fatin Najiha (15).

MIDFIELDER: Zur'ain Kamarudin (26), Nurul Lyana (24), Leong Xin Ying (22), Faiqah Safira (22), Marissa Aleya (16), Yusrina Syasya (16), Dian Aqilah (16).

FORWARD: Siti Nabilah (30), Fatin Fartini (17).
