Last Sunday, the 'Mobile Legends' team under the banner of Selangor FC, known as Yoodo Red Giants, concluded the third week of the MPL MY Season 12 league competition last week with 1 point.
The #RedGiants team had their second encounter with the RSG MY team in the last match, which took place at Dewan Sri Putra, Bukit Jalil. The #RedGiants team had to concede as RSG MY managed to secure a 2-1 victory, ending the #RedGiants winning streak. The defeat last week was also their first of the season after dominating with five consecutive wins.
"Last week’s loss wasn’t a setback for us, but rather an opportunity for the team to reassess which areas need improvement, and we will certainly show a comeback in the upcoming matches," explained Ozoraveki.
Currently, the #RedGiants team has accumulated a total of 13 points over the course of 3 weeks of the league and is still holding the top position in the league, closely followed by Team SMG with a 2-point difference.
After three weeks of the league, the import player from the Philippines, Super Red, who plays in the 'Gold Laner' position, now has the highest number of eliminations, or 'kills,' totaling 67 kills. Meanwhile, the player in the 'Mid Laner' position, Super Zak, has recorded the highest number of assists with 116, closely followed by another import player, Pancake, who has a total of 97 assists.
The #RedGiants team will once again take the stage in the MPL MY competition for their 7th match, facing off against the Homebois team. It's also the second meeting between both teams, but this time with different player lineups.
"For tomorrow’s match, it’s going to be a big match for the opening of week 4. Of course we're going to respect our opponent, but for sure all of my players are ready and motivated enough for tomorrow’s match," said head coach Arcadia.
