Syahir Bashah was born on 16 September 2001. Perak-born started his senior career with Selangor FC senior team in 2022 after shining brightly with his hometown team, Perak FC in 2021.
Made his debut in the first Super League match of season 2022 versus Kuala Lumpur City FC. In total, he has played 28 matches ever since. Scored his first senior goal during the match on 11 March against Harini FT in Malaysia Cup 2022.
Syahir made a huge impact in matches with the U23 national team, impressing with his touches and movements which constantly spelled danger for the opposition. He then received Harimau Malaya call up in 2023.
